Doro's Animal World: Blue Throated Barbet

Hello! I am DORO. I study in class IV now. I love animals, birds, butterflies, fishes and all. My favourite animal is Cheetah. My favourite bird is Falcon. Cheetah is the fastest runner among the animals. Falcon is the fastest bird. This is the window through which I get to see open sky and many birds over there on our green backyard! Blue Throated Barbet

This beautiful bird was calling continuously and hopping from one tree to another in the hot sun. This we spotted at our village home at Ruppur in Nadia district, West Bengal.

These barbet birds eat fruits and insects.
